Jerrod Mitchell is the new Vice President of Marketing of NPC’s Wendy’s Division.
Jerrod joined NPC in 2015 as a Marketing Director and has played an integral part in supporting the growth of the Wendy’s business. Jerrod drives the Marketing strategy and local media planning for Wendy’s and partners closely with operations in leading a sales-building culture focused around improving suggestive selling behaviors within our restaurants. Jerrod has fostered strong relationships with the Wendy’s brand along with key contacts across the franchisee community. He is a member of the Wendy’s Franchise Marketing Committee, which partners with the brand to uncover new marketing opportunities for the system, and he holds multiple DMA leadership roles.
Prior to joining NPC, Jerrod served as Senior Manager of Marketing Communications for Applebee’s International, where he helped lead brand strategy and creative development. Preceding Applebee’s, Jerrod worked as an Account Supervisor at Barkley advertising agency and spent 6 years as a Brand Manager at Hallmark Cards Inc. Jerrod graduated with a double major in Marketing and Finance from the University of Kansas and earned his MBA from Baker University.
Jerrod lives in Overland Park with his wife Larami, and their son. He’s an avid sports fan, beer nerd and travel buff, however, most of his free time is now spent exploring the many joys of fatherhood.
