Jason Poenitski is Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Restaurant Services of NPC’s Shared Services division.
Jason joined NPC in 2013 as Chief Accounting Officer responsible for oversight of the company’s financial reporting, loss prevention, payroll, accounting, realty accounting, purchasing, fixed asset accounting, cash management, insurance, accounts payable and receivables. While with NPC, Jason has led accounting operations for the acquisition of 385 Wendy’s restaurants, the sale and repurchase of 72 Pizza Hut locations as well as for the sale of the company to private investors for $1.21 billion.
Prior to joining NPC, Jason served as Vice President of Finance at Vatterott Educational Centers from 2011 through 2012 and served as Vice President and Controller of Central Parking Corporation, a provider of parking services, from 2003 through 2011. He began his career as an auditor with Deloitte and Touche, LLP.
Jason is a certified public accountant and earned his B.S. in Accounting from Western Kentucky University in 1996. Jason lives in Pittsburg, Kansas, with his wife of 22 years, Tracy, and their two kids. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking and fishing.
