Oregon Pizza Hut pairs with local motorcyclists to change lives
As the sun rose in the small out of the way town of Dallas, OR, the smell of Cinnabon’s, fresh Personal Pan Pizza, bacon and coffee swirled down Court Street.
The roar of hundreds of Harleys Davidsons and many self-built custom motorcycles rolled thru the town. Pizza Hut of Dallas, Oregon partnered with the Old Guard Riders on their Easter Basket Poker Run. The goal was to help local families that face challenging circumstances and to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Foundation. We helped fill 1000 Easter Baskets and included a select group secret free food coupon along with box toppers.
Our team Stephen (RM,) Ty (AGM), Tommy (RGM), and Tony (Marketing Coordinator) had a great time meeting and greeting hundreds of people from the community and beyond. The Mayor visited with our Team and expressed his gratitude for our support of the community.
During this experience, we gained at least a dozen invites to new partnerships and fundraising for multiple activities and Benefit for communities surrounding Dallas.
The positive ripple effect from this effort and the brand awareness and equity we created will be exciting to watch unfold. Thank you to Tommy, Jessica Tolbert (Shift Leader), Jacqueline Wyatt (Driver), and Ty Tarrant, and Tony for the tremendous efforts in bringing this event to such a success.
